

There she provided outsourced consultancy, representation, project management, investor targeting and company support for governmental economic development organisations promoting foreign direct investment into their regions. Julia came to the Victorian Government after five years as a Senior Consultant at OCO Global – a leading authority on foreign investment and trade. She also plays a key role in ministerial and industry visits to Europe to ensure a two-way exchange. She joined the Government of Victoria’s London office in May 2017 and is responsible for leading the European investment team, strategy, advocating on behalf of the Victorian government and supporting companies with an interest in investing, or expanding existing operations in Victoria. Julia is an economic development specialist with nearly 20 years’ experience in this field. Jeremy offers support for Victorian businesses seeking information about market and regulatory information, trade missions, introductions, practical market entry assistance, events and letters of support. In particular, he supported and promoted the UK-Australia FinTech Bridge initiative an agreement between the UK and Australian governments to assist fintech companies in both countries through collaboration, co-operation, and partnerships and by reducing regulatory barriers and allowing steps towards reciprocity on policy.

Jeremy worked in trade development and specialised in supporting British financial and professional services companies with identifying trade and investment opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. Previous to his role with Global Victoria, Jeremy was with the UK Department for International Trade – the United Kingdom Government's international trade and investment agency where he was based at the British Consulate-General in Sydney, Australia. His role includes designing and managing a range of trade activities and projects across the UK and Europe, researching and identifying trade opportunities for Victoria across European markets, supporting Ministerial visits and delivering initiatives that strengthen business links for Victoria. Jeremy joined the Government of Victoria’s London office in June 2021 and is responsible for supporting Victorian technology, beauty and personal care companies with their exporting ambitions for the region. She joined the Victorian Government as part of the Graduate Programme in 2012.


She also studied at Malmo University, Sweden and the University of Washington, United States of America. She has a Bachelor of Law and International Relations from La Trobe University. She worked in the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet from 2012-2015, working on industry and international engagement policy. Prior to her role with Victoria Government, Arabella worked for the UK Government in UK Export Finance on issues related to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and European Union regulation of export finance. Within the office, she had previously been an Investment Director working to attract companies to set up or expand in Victoria, and the Trade Manager delivering support and services to Victorian companies looking to export to the region. She currently leads on the office’s economic development strategy and engagement with the United Kingdom, Europe and Israel. Tim has worked in both the private and public sectors and has undertaken formal studies in Economics, Japanese and Asian Studies.Īrabella joined the London Victorian Government Trade and Investment Office in 2016. Tim has facilitated significant investment into Victoria’s renewable energy, automotive, food and fibre, tourism, retail and infrastructure sectors. Having dealt with many companies across a range of industries and countries, Tim has strong trade development and investment facilitation capabilities. Tim took up his appointment as the Agent General for Victoria to the United Kingdom and Commissioner for Europe and Israel in 2020. Based out of the London VGTI office, Tim represents the State Government of Victoria’s interests in the United Kingdom, Europe and Israel, overseeing the Victorian Government Trade and Investment Offices in London and Frankfurt, and representation in Israel. Tim has extensive experience representing Victoria overseas having served as Commissioner for Victoria to Greater China (2014-2020), Southeast Asia (2009-2014), and North Asia (2004-2009).
